Chango Mezcalero is a vintage clay bottle traditionally used for holding, displaying and serving mezcal, the spirit produced mainly in the State of Oaxaca, south central Mexico. Now highly collectible, the history and origins of this mezcal 'monkey bottle' are worthy of explanation, at least on a provisional basis pending further historical / anthropological investigation.
